2025 Winners of the VFW Youth Scholarship and Teacher of the Year

Dear Comrades, 

​

I hope you will join us at February Steak Night (February 20) as we recognize winners of the VFW Youth Scholarship and Teacher of the Year.  

 

This year, students were invited to respond to the prompt, “How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for Our Country?”  Students in grades 6–8 participated in the essay-writing contest, while students in grades 9–12 participated in both the essay and audio contest.

 

Post 10427 Awards Presentation

VFW Post 10427 will award more than $3,000 in monetary scholarships to this year’s winners.

It has been a true honor serving as the VFW Post 10427 Youth Scholarship Chairperson, and this would not be possible without your continued support.  I would like to extend a sincere thank you to this year’s judges—Mitch Fuller, JP Flanigan, and Dennis Narciso.
