Position Overview

Robert John Leaham VFW Post 10427 is seeking a part-time relief bartender to join our friendly, dedicated team of two. This role is ideal for a self-driven, motivated, and hard-working individual perfect for a student or anyone looking to earn extra income just a few days a week!

Position Details

• Location: VFW Post 10427, Leander, TX

• Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • You will work select shifts as a relief worker

• Current Team Size: 2 bartenders

Key Responsibilities

• Serve beer and wine to members and guests

• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks

• Assess customers’ needs and preferences to ensure satisfaction

• Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

• Maintain a guest-focused attitude and provide an excellent experience

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

• Current TABC Certification (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission)

• Valid Food Handlers Permit

• Friendly, positive attitude and customer service skills

• Must be reliable and able to work flexible, limited shifts

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
