OFFICIAL SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT
VFW Post 10427 – Leander, Texas - Attention Members and Visitors,
Please exercise extreme caution when entering or exiting the VFW property onto Ranch Road 2243. Traffic volume has increased significantly due to heavy-duty rock haulers operating throughout the day, creating heightened risk for vehicles turning in or out of VFW Road.
Post leadership has been in direct communication with Key Construction regarding the condition of VFW Road from 2243 to the Post. Key Construction has committed to the following actions:
• Regular sweeping of the roadway from the VFW entrance to Ranch Road 2243 to remove debris and improve driving safety.
• Full repair of all construction‑related damage to VFW Road, restoring it to its previous condition—or better—upon completion of their project.
All drivers are urged to remain alert, reduce speed, and watch for trucks, loose gravel, and changing road conditions at all times.
Your cooperation helps ensure the safety of our members, guests, and community.
